As you may know I love a collaboration. So you can imagine my excitement at the Gap + Peanuts one that has literally just launched this week.
I grew up watching (and reading) Charlie Brown, Snoppy and the gang – as I’m sure you did – so this collection may be slight more exciting to adults that kids for the moment….
As the timing couldn’t be any more perfect with the release of The Peanuts Movie in December (it might be wise to get them kitted out for it now) and this year also marks the 50th anniversary of A Charlie Brown Christmas.
The classic comic strip Peanuts was created by Charles M. Schulz almost 65 years ago). Here’s a little reminder…
This Gap + Peanuts limited edition collection features vintage artwork and exclusive hand sketched drawing across the baby wear giving it a more timeless feel rather than a ‘character’ feeling (yeah). For babies there’s unisex onesies, a Snoopy inspired Sherpa suit, a reversible blanket and ‘mood’ bodysuits.
For the tots and kids look out for a Sally (Charlie Browns sister) and Lucy inspired polka dot ruffled dress, comic strip printed hoodies and pumps, graphic tees, a faux leather flying jacket and of course, the quintessential Charlie Brown yellow and black zigzag stripe on knitwear.
Accessories include printed totes, quirky scarves and too-die for hats (I mean who doesn’t need that Snoopy and Woodstock hat in their life?) Prices start from £6.95.
* Although, they missed out my fave character Peppermint Patty….
