September (and October) are the most exciting months in the fashion calendar – as the four fashion capitals showcase next seasons collections.
It always kicks off with New York Fashion Week first and inspired by this I have rounded up a few NYC looks for the little’s. OK, so they may not be in next year’s trends (as its Spring Summer 2016) and they may feature a few iconic sightseeing prints – but fashion above all should always be fun – so why not!
I’m also linking up with Adventure Walks. Adventure Walks are a series of illustrated foldable guidebook-maps offering the best walks around various cities created by two journalists Clare Lewis and Becky Jones.
Each folding map has step-by-step instructions of where to go, what to see and interesting little facts and sights to help kids discover the city through their own eyes. With mini maps on the back and fabulous little titles like ‘scrumptious treats’ (pin pointing hot places for sweets, ice creams and cakes), the best museums, city farms and loads of other kid-friendly diversions that are sure to keep them, well walking.
The newest edition is the New York Adventure Walks Map – with 18 adventure walks. From a trip across Brooklyn Bridge to the best burgers, carousel rides and the animals at Central Park Zoo to the iconic sights and retro diners. It’s a mini Big Apple adventure waiting to happen.
First up lets get them dressed and ready…

We have never been on a city break since having Little Miss Vista… but we live very close to both Manchester and Liverpool – We could take in the Walker in Liverpool and have afternoon tea at Radio City Tower xx
my boy loves York
My daughter loves walking down the royal mile in Edinburgh.
I really, really want to go there! It's my dream! Hoping Hubby gets the hint and takes us all there soon! 🙂 I adore that satchel!!!!! xx
We love Manchester. Went there for the first time this year.
I have been to Barcelona with a toddler and it was really good fun! Closer to home though I'd have to say Liverpool x
Love the Science & industry Museum in Manchester
Just read for the second time!! These fashion week posts are brilliant xxx
Bonnie I love this and those clothes are the perfect New York outfits, I love New York and this post just gave me the NYC vibe in fact it has made me want to go back and take the boys to Central Park again. xxx
we love london, x so much to see!!
Edinburgh so much history to learn in a very calm city – no hustle and bustle to take it all in!
We like day trips to London as plenty to do
London is awesome so much to choose from xx
There's always something interesting going on at the Southbank in London – my kids love it there.
The centre of York when they have something going on (like the Viking Festival, etc..) Always something to see and learn.
We love visiting the canals in Birmingham
In Aberdeen the Duthie Park has a lovely play park with equipment that reminds me of snow white and the seven dwarfs. It's very fairytale like and loads of fun for children. There is also the Winter Gardens which are nice to walk round on a rainy day.
