I have been posting #mamamondays for a few months now and I always try to include anything that is making us happy – and hopefully you – even though it’s a Monday. And, I have to say it’s making me try to make the most of this often ‘depressing’ day
It has been anything from what we’re doing or planning to what we’re eating, watching or reading. I’ve even included items I’m lusting after or buying and anything else that has been inspiring me to make Mondays – and the rest of the week if need be – just a little more bearable.
I really hope that #mamamondays is inspiring you to make the most of this fresh start we get every week…
Is it a wigwam or a tipi?
Either way it has been a fab hideout for Miss M this summer.
When the Great Little Trading Company offered to send Miss M a wigwam – I ignored the ‘where am I going to put it argument’ and went with seeing how much fun she would have with it.
I was drawn to the red stars and stripes design as it gives it a more classic feel. This print canvas design is actually exclusive to GLTC too.
I am impressed by the sturdy frame and how roomy it is too. I will confess that it wasn’t the easiest thing to put up though… and caused a few crossed words with the hubby (this cemented our need to us book a pre-pitched tent at Camp Bestival!)
Needless to say it has been pitched up in the front room for a while and filled with dolls and teddies. But, on the few amazing hot days we’ve had – we’ve moved it into the garden.
Outside it’s offered great shade protection and even a cozy nap area once filled with cushions. Even our cats have been taking a ‘cat nap’ in it.
Miss M she has loved having her own little ‘house’ – and wants to keep it up constantly. Unfortunately for her we can’t due to space – but it folds together easily for storage and can be assembled in moments again (phew!)
We’re hoping for a sunny Bank Holiday so we can use it a few more times – and if you’re looking for a wigwam/tipi or already have one you’ll be needing these essentials…

Delving into its design archives – Clarks have
reworked some of their classic designs and given them a modern twist. Choose from Bonnie Bop super cool tan leather boots with ribbon laces and Bonnie Boo a must-have Mary Jane with a rip-tape strap and button detail in either red or navy
I have my eye on the tan ankle boots – I mean how cool are they? And, it has nothing to do with them being called Bonnie!

It’s been a busy few months with work – and I’m not complaining. But, it’s worrying me how much coffee I am needing to get through the day.
Even more than when I was on my first maternity…. I think I am addicted!
But, how many caffeine hits a day is too many?
Aah I'm with you with working too hard and caffeine! I'm not sure I'm addicted but I definitely use it as a crutch — to keep me going!! Love those little shoes Bon — so sweet. And Miss M will get SO much out of her teepee — the boys absolutely love theirs! We even took it to Camp Bestival with us!! 🙂 xx

We have a tipi as well and it used to be in the lounge all the time! Loads of fun. Caffeine is essential too in my view. Keep going lovely lady xx
