Valentine’s Day is this Saturday. Love it or hate it they is no getting away from it.
Personally I’m not really a big fan of Valentine’s Day. Overpriced flowers, chocolates so soon after Christmas…you get the picture. And, Mr VIB and I can’t stand being in a restaurant on a night when the pressure to be the perfect couple is so in-your-face. We’re quite happy eating our meal and not talking thank-you-very-much.
But, yes it is lovely to get a card and maybe a token gift – but, if I’m honest I look forward to my home-made card that Miss M brings home from nursery nowadays.
