I’ve been hassled for a Christmas wish list for few weeks now. And truth be told as much as I love compiling gift guides I find doing my own hard work.
Yes, there are things I really want (a new bathroom, thin thighs, a good nights sleep, shelves put up in front room..) and as much as I love nice things – and I really do (nice hotels, good food, spa treatments, holidays..) there is nothing I really need.
I even tweeted about it:
Christmas now for me is really about spending time with my family – this year more than ever. But, just in case anyone did want to pop anything in my stocking here are a few pointers… but, really it’s a WISH LIST as for most of them I’ve gone a little over our family secret Santa budget!
Olympus Pen E-PL7 from £399
I’ve lost count of the amount of cameras I had as gifts over the years – and no matter what I still revert to taking pictures on my phone now. But this super luxe camera could change all that! This Olympus Pen is the fashion bloggers camera of choice and I can see why. It’s compact, elegant and apparently takes a mean selfie (not that I’m too good at those) and connects via Bluetooth straight to your Instagram account!
Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm £36
Cleansing balms are my weakness. I am a huge fan of the classic Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, have dabbled with the other version by Elemis, Sanctuary Spa, No.7 and Soap & Glory and have been to scared to use to much of my Eve Lom cleanser. But, this is one I have yet to try – I have read so many good things about it – I hope to give it a whirl soon.
To Audrey with Love Hubert de Givenchy £80
I’m not sure if there is a coffee table book about Audrey Hepburn that I don’t own. If friends ever fear what to buy me – a book about one of my favourite actresses/style icons is always a winner. (along with any book about Marilyn Monroe, Jackie Kennedy and Elizabeth Taylor). This book is not the cheapest but it’s an open love letter from Givenchy to his muse and friend Audrey featuring over 150 fashion sketches, antidotes and memories.
Donna – The CD Collection by Donna Summer £60 -£80
If you’re a fan of Donna Summer – this is the box set we’ve all been waiting for (I know I have). I’m a huge fan and ‘I Feel Love’ is my favourite hit by far! This set includes all her hits from the 1970’s onwards – I fear I may not get this as since writing this post its seems to be unavailable except on eBay.
Gold Pineapple bookends £20
I have a bit of a thing for pineapples. And flamingos. And palm trees. And parrots. You get the picture. I love the kitsch, Miami beach inspired decor look and in my dreams I would have a beach house that I could decorate in all these tropical motifs…. for now I would settle for these.

Victoria, Victoria Beckham X for Nails Inc £25 each
Not the cheapest nail polish in the world – but hey when it’s one of the most exciting links up for a while it can be forgiven. Victoria Beckham’s Nail Inc. polishes include 2 limited edition shades Bamboo White (a delicate bone shade) and Judo Red (a vibrant tomato shade). Love both, of course.
Handbag Butler Mighty Purse from £80
The purse that charges your phone…yes, can you believe it. A gorgeous purse you can use as clutch bag or pop in your regular bag that will top your phone up with a discreet (and surprisingly lightweight) battery built inside – that will ensure on a night (or day) out your will never run out of power. There is even room for your essentials (lippy, money, cards..) I love this leopard print version – but come in loads of colours and fabrics.
Anya Hindmarch Leather stickers from £35
Move over pom-poms it’s time to ‘sticker up’. These designer luxe leather designer stickers are exclusive to Selfridges and will perk up handbags, notebooks and phones. And, Miss M will not be getting her little hand on these!
