After the success of last years parody We’re Going On A Bar Hunt by husband-and-wife authors Josie Lloyd and Emlyn Rees comes what happens after said bar hunt – an almighty hangover.

The Very Hungover Caterpillar shows the pain of the morning after the night before. We all remember  how especially hard that is – and I have to say, 100 times worse – now you have kids, right?

Follow the dad of 3 as he attempts to shake of a killer of a hangover by eating whatever he can get his hand on – and tries to make it through to the next day.

Of course, it’s based on the all-time classic The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle – this book is exclusively for ‘kid-ults’. A quick and funny read (although, it’s very funny I don’t think its as good as their first book) – it would make the ideal gift for any parent who has read the original over and over (umm, isn’t that what makes you drink in the first place!)

The Very Hungover Caterpillar £6.99 Waterstones

V. I. BE HONEST: We were sent a review copy of this book in return for a review post. But, I would of reviewed this book anyway as big fans of the first parody. All views are our own of course!
