Belle & Boo and the Very Merry Christmas by Mandy Sutcliffe £6.99

Beautiful vintage-inspired illustrations make this one of our fave Christmas books. The charming tale of bob-haired Belle and her best-bunny-friend Boo. A tale on learning how kindness and sharing make for a nicer Christmas than just those presents under the tree.

Stick Man by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler £4

This is one of Miss Marnie’s fave books and we recently saw the live stage version at the Leicester Square Theatre in London (well worth a visit if you can – it’s amazing and was enjoyed by all!). The tale of Stickman, Oh Stickman.. and how he gets lost one day and his adventures to get home in time for Christmas to his Stick family.

Dear Santa by Rod Campbell £4.79

The perfect first Christmas board book for little ones – it’s a festive version of the classic Dear Zoo and has the best present ending ever! Read my review here.

Paddington and the Christmas Surprise by Michael Bond £4

Paddington is everywhere this Christmas – read my post here. So, it makes sense that one of his stories make it into my festive round up. This story is full of the usual Paddington Bear mischief and mayhem as The Browns’ take PB to visit Santa’s grotto at their local department store.

Father Christmas by Raymond Briggs £4

Raymond Briggs books are Christmas Classics – besides the Snowman (review coming soon) he also wrote this festive classic now in it’s 40th year. The story of a rather grumpy Santa and what happens when he wakes from a blissful summer sleep on December the 24th – his busiest day of the year…
