Please don’t hate me – but I cannot bear cartoon character clothing for kids! I have so far avoided putting Miss Marnie in any baby grows, tops or PJ’s adorned with said offending ‘toons. That is except for…
…one cartoon character we both love Micky Mouse! And, of course Minnie Mouse.
I especially like the original sketches of them. And, prefer the more ‘vintage’ and retro printed pieces – over the bright, patterned or childlike ones.
I know I’m going to have to lighten up on this when she is old enough to have a say in what she wears. I’m not looking forward to those mama-is-a-fashion-stylist + child-clothing-rows but, until then I will enjoy dressing her my way.
Whose knows maybe some of my fashion tips will rub off on her – and she will bypass the whole Princess outfits/nighties/accessories thing (wishful thinking maybe!) Until then here’s some of our fave Mickey & Minnie finds on the high street now…
