check and the go-ahead from your doc/midwife)? Then I can’t recommend this Davina McCall exercise DVD enough…. really!
I’ve been a little obsessed with celebrity workout DVD’s (actually make that VHS) since I was a teenager – my faves were Jane Fonda, Cher Fitness Cindy Crawford and Claudia Schiffer (it was all about the supermodels in the 90’s!) But, in a sea of soap stars and reality TV star offerings I would only ever go with stars that actually ‘know their stuff’ now.
I think Davina is brilliant – and having had 3 kids I think she understands how important the need to feel good about yourself pre-and-post natal is. And, her super fit body was such a hot topic after she gave birth the third time!
Even though I
didn’t do it as much as I would of liked when pregnant (and even less so now with a toddler!) – the exercises are gentle but effective. Davina is
encouraging and offers lots of sound advice and tips during the moves. In fact I think I might just need to start it up again this week!! (Eek – have I just said that out loud and in print now?)
