Here’s my Christmas dressing plan for Miss Marnie – whether it happens or not depends on mood, mess and mayhem!
Christmas Eve
Time for a little fun and what’s more fun than some fancy dress? This little elf outfit from Sainsbuy’s is bright, playful and comfortable (no stiff skirting or itchy fabrics!).
I may add these novelty slippers from Marks & Spencer to keep her feet warm around nanny’s house. And, whats more perfect than a Christmas movie, snuggly blanket and some hot chocolate?

Christmas Day
Nothing beats a little tartan dress for the big day – this Gap one was picked up on the day Miss Marnie and I attended an in-store event with Little Spree (a super stylish kids fashion blog).
We’ll team it with some navy cable knit tights, gold ballet pumps and – if she will keep it on long enough – this cute bow headband. Christmas dinner will be served on her fave Peter Rabbit tray plate too.

Boxing Day
Time to relax and play with her gifts from Santa. That means durable play clothes and nothing beats denim – we’re loving these Next boys skinny grey ones as they look so much better than the girls styles.
I will keep the Christmas vibe going a little longer with a grey star print bodysuit under her Boden silver sparkle cardigan. Hopefully she will fit into her new shoes too!
Let the fun begin…
