The best tip I’ve had about decorating a nursery is:
‘Keep the curtains, carpet and lighting grown-up –
and then have fun with the rest!’
Makes sense really.
I’m all for avoiding cartoon/novelty printed curtains and paper shades at all costs – in favour of neutral, classic pieces to ensure the room will grow with your baby, toddler and child.
So, on the fun note what about these super cool and funky wallpapers designed by New Yorker Aimée Wilder?
Aimée’s wallpaper is printed to order and with over 40 bold, unique and original designs they are all available in a extensive range of colour ways.
OK, these papers aren’t cheap – and shipping from the USA won’t be either. But, just do one wall for the best – and the most cost effective effect. Think of it as a feature wall in what to theme the rest of the room around.
I love these…
