Not sure if it’s the brighter days we’ve been having but I’m feeling that Spring is finally on its way.
Working on Spring summer pages don’t help as all I have been looking at is bright, summery colours and fashions. It’s making me want to get outside yes, even from under my blanket on the sofa.
But, to be honest my outside has been a little neglected. We moved into our house a few years ago and the garden wasn’t high on our list of things to fix up. Now, Miss Marnie is a bit older though I’m wanting a another place for her to play and hang out.
I am no gardener – how I wish I was more green-fingered – but within a month or so isn’t it the perfect time to start planting seeds and bulbs to ensure your garden is full of colour come springtime?
Although, we have some lovely trees, hedges and flowering bushes in our small back garden – what I think I should concentrate on it getting it looking good with a few choice pieces of furniture and accessories.
A big tidy up, some mowing, pruning and clearing are in order to get the garden up together before I fill it with pretty things but of course looking is half the fun as really doesn’t it cheer up these final grey days?
Classic furniture, a good barbecue (I am not great at barbecues either so this little guide has come in handy), some soft furnishings and cute plant pots are just some of the things I need and want to make our outside space a little less drab.
