Continuing with my new regular post which will include anything that is making us happy – and hopefully you – even though it’s Monday.
It will be anything from what we’re doing or planning to what we’re eating, watching or reading. Items I’m lusting after or buying to anything else that inspires to make Mondays – and the rest of the week if need be – just a little more bearable.
Step forward #mamamondays
Disney seems to be taking over my life in more ways than one. And, I have to confess I don’t really mind. I’m enjoying seeing the magic of Disney through Miss Marnies’ eyes. After, a holiday last month – this week we’ve a night out planned to see Disney on Ice.
Disney on Ice – yes, Disney songs and stories staged on a magical ice rink – incase you have yet to experience! This years offering also has the added excitement of some certain sisters and a snowman.
Disney on Ice – Magical Ice Festival sees Frozen brought to life on the …umm ice. Along with The Little Mermaid (my personal fave), Tangled and Beauty and The Beast.
I have been to a Disney on Ice show once before with my niece and nephew but this will be my first experience with Miss M. I would normally be slightly worried about whether she will be about to sit still for the 120 minutes – but, after our recent holiday to Disneyland Paris and all the waiting and standing around we did I know the magic of Disney will win her (us) all over.
Disney on Ice Magical Ice Festival arrives at Wembley Arena, London on Wednesday 22nd until Sunday 26th.

Miss M and I love nothing better than popping out for a piece of cake. In fact it has become a bit of a weekly ritual that is becoming worrying bad for my waistline – but, something that we call our ‘marine and mama’ time. So it our ‘bonding’ time (or thats our excuse!)
Often, we pop to a local coffee shop but last week we stayed in, set the table, cracked open the apple juice and partied with Pablo the Pug.
Pablo the Pug is super cute new cake design exclusive to the in-store bakery at Asda. The traditional birthday sponge cake is filled with butter cream and raspberry jam – not that I wanted to cut into his addable little face. I mean look at him!
Even Miss M became a little attached to him…
For £10 and serving 16-18 people (probably more for a little kids party) – I’d say at this price this is one puppy that isn’t just for birthdays!
How nice has it been to finally pull off those socks/tights and boots? I may not be totally embracing sandals just yet – but I’m enjoying a little Spring like footwear with these super-comfy Espadrille’s.
From Marks & Spencer – seriously M&S are on fire this season – and the footwear department is one of my fave new haunts.
I love the denim and tan combo of these and at £19.50 they are a quick-shoe-fix – especially as they will prob only last the summer (because we all know what hot, sock less feet do to summer shoes!)
P.S They also come in gold glitter!
V. I. BE HONEST: Special thanks to Asda for sending us Pablo the Pug and some party treats for our indoor afternoon tea.
