Continuing with my new regular post which will include anything that is making us happy – and hopefully you – even though it’s Monday.
It will be anything from what we’re doing or planning to what we’re eating, watching or reading. Items I’m lusting after or buying to anything else that inspires to make Mondays – and the rest of the week if need be – just a little more bearable.
Step forward #mamamondays
We Love Pizza Express. I mean who doesn’t? A great place for an casual date, perfect for a meet-up with friends and even better when you have kids. We have a Pizza Express almost at the end of our road – so, needless to say it’s a regular weekend hangout for us.
So, when they invited us down to check out the new Paddington Bear activity pack with the kids Piccolo menu – Miss Marnie didn’t need asking twice and was already requesting her favourite pasta dish.
The Paddington Bear activity sheet is full of puzzles, games and competitions and comes with the regular Piccolo menu sticker sheet, hat and crayons – and will be available up to the launch of the Paddington DVD at the end of the month.
What I really like about the Piccolo menu is that you can choose either a single meal or the 3-course option (includes dough balls, pizza or pasta, dessert and a Bambinoccino) – such great value (from £3.95-£6.50) and ideal for fussy tots. Although, I will admit on occasions to finishing off her dough balls…
V. I. BE HONEST: Thanks to Pizza Express for inviting us down with our friends to enjoy the Piccolo menu
Of sorts. Miss M and I have been trying out some fab new kids nail varnish from Nailmatic Kids. Yes – really. Nailmatic Kids are a collection of bright coloured polishes that are water-based with no nasties, toxins or aggressive chemicals. But, the best bit is it can be washed-off with warm soapy water.
I really love all the matte candy shades – so much better than the pink-tinted wash-off polish I was allowed when I was young (mine came from Avon – I think it may have been scented too!) Although, it’s suggested for children 3+ – and Miss M is only 2 – I threw caution to the wind and thought why not! And, have to say she was mesmerised by her nails being painted and sat still for like a whole 5 minutes!
So, much so that we did her toes too!
They also come in cute little boxes that can be coloured in (when nails are dry of course!)
Nailmatic Kids Nail Varnishes cost £8 each from Smallable
Myself. Well trying too…
I love noting better than writing a To Do list – and actually am not sure I would get anything done if I didn’t write them (much to my husbands dismay and mocking!).
So, I really need one of these beautiful notepads to get myself sorted – right?
